All maritime and air shipments with final destination the Democratic Republic of Congo shall be regularized by a
Fiche Electronique de Renseignement à l’Importation. Generally called FERI.
The FERI certificate is a mandatory document as per circular: “Decision 004” of 20702/2023 and DG-N°003/05/2021 of 18/05/2021. Each B/L or AWB need to be regularized by a Fiche Electronique de Renseignement à l’Importation.

Submit the registration certificate showing the first registration date of the used vehicle

The FXI reference is released to the importer when they regularized the commercial invoice with an import license. The FXI reference is used by the importer for the necessary import formalities with the single window called “Guichet Unique”.
The BIVAC code is a number that is assigned to the import license. Goods under USD 2,500.00 are exempt.
