Bordereau Electronique de Suivi des Cargaisons

All maritime shipments with final destination in Senegal shall be regularized by a Bordereau Electronique de Suivi des Cargaisons. Generally called as BESC o BSC.

BESC/BSC certificate is a necessary document as from 26/05/2008 requested by Decree Inter Ministerial N°04350. Each B/L must be accompanied by a Bordereau Electronique de Suivi des Cargaisons.

  • Bill of Lading – B/L
  • Commercial Invoice
  • Sea Freight invoice if commercial invoice is FOB or EXW
  • Packing List
Procedure
  • Collect all mandatory documents
  • Submit your request on-line or by e-mail
  • Wait for our invoice and draft BESC
  • Check/confirm the draft and proceed with payment
  • Wait for the validated BESC certificate
Attention

In order to proceed with final validation we need a dated B/L.

Can I request my BESC/BSC at the port of discharge?

No, you need to apply and regularize your shipment before the loading or a couple of days after the vessel’s departure. BESC/BSC will not be issued at discharge port.

Do I have to insert the BESC/BSC n° on the B/L?

Yes, it is necessary in order to connect your BESC/BSC and B/L.

Can I amend my BESC/BSC certificate after validation?

Yes, you can. Please present the amended documents and get in contact with us: senegal@shippersdoc.com
