Electronic Cargo Tracking Note (ECTN) o Bordereau Électronique de Suivi des Cargaisons (BESC)

All sea shipments with final destination in South Sudan must be regularised by a Electronic Cargo Tracking Note. Also generally referred to as BESC – Bordereau Électronique de Suivi des Cargaisons.

The ECTN/BESC certificate is a necessary document for formalities at destination. Each B/L must be accompanied by an Electronic Cargo Tracking Note.

  • Freight invoice if commercial invoice has FOB or EXW
  • Customs declaration – EXA

Procedure
  • Collect all mandatory documents
  • Submit your request on-line or by e-mail
  • Wait for our invoice and draft ECTN
  • Check/confirm the draft and proceed with payment
  • Wait for the validated ECTN certificate

Is the dated copy of the draft BL sufficient to proceed with final validation of my ECTN/BESC?

No, we accept the draft to initiate your application. To proceed with the validation we need at least Non- negotiable BL or the OBL scan.
