In reference to recent enquiries received from various players in the market, we inform that the ECTN / SPN for Ghana has not been in force since November 1st. After appropriate checks with the authorities at destination, we have received the press release from the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Ghana n° MOF/GA/PR/23 of 31 October 2023 which confirms that no ECTN / SPN is required.
This communication confirms the instructions of the Management of the GRA – Ghana Revenue Authority of 08/26/2020.
Most West African countries require the shipment regularization through a FERI / ECTN / BESC / WAIVER /ARCCLA document. It is a goods traceability document request at the moment of loading goods.
